Specialising in rapid prototyping, Adam employs various 3D computer-aided design tools to fabricate, test, and refine models, aligning with each project’s unique specifications. In close collaboration with architects, he interprets their concepts and suggests model-making methods with a refined, realistic finish — sometimes incorporating actual building materials to convey a true sense of materiality.
As head of the Rapid Prototype department, Adam manages a suite of advanced tools, including robotic arms, laser cutters, 3D printers, and CNC machines, while also coordinating with external model-making companies. Primarily working from the Tech Lab, Adam is known for his friendly, receptive approach to others’ ideas and a practical mindset for fabrication challenges. In addition, he oversees work experience placements for aspiring model-makers and organises hands-on workshops, meetings, and presentations, fostering a collaborative environment within the Tech Lab.
Prior to ZHA, Adam worked at Foster + Partners as a Rapid Prototype Technician.

Exhibitions
ZHA has been both the subject and the designer of numerous exhibitions, a dual role that both enriches our work and the way that we communicate it to the world. Exhibitions are opportunities to engage in dialogue – with curators, audiences, and other creators.
Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Fashion Design from Middlesex University, where he honed a creative, form-focused design approach.
Working with diverse, multicultural teams at ZHA, Adam finds inspiration in different cultural lexicons and work styles. Interacting with colleagues from various backgrounds has deepened his appreciation for cultural nuances and helped him to become a more effective communicator.
