Anri’s work focuses on refining workflows, enhancing sustainability, and transforming innovative design concepts into practical, buildable solutions. He is dedicated to exploring new technologies and methodologies to optimise design processes and improve efficiency.
Before joining ZHA, Anri gained diverse experience at architectural practices in Moscow, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Armenia, including COLLECTIVE and MAD Architects, where he contributed to the Hainan Science and Technology Museum.

Anri completed his Bachelor of Architecture from the Moscow Architectural Institute with a Specialist Degree in Urban Planning, Public, and Cultural Buildings. He earned his Master of Architecture and Urbanism from the Design Research Laboratory (DRL) at the Architectural Association (AA) in London. He has taught and lectured at the AA and in Moscow.
Anri’s Armenian heritage has profoundly influenced his professional perspective and taught him the importance of blending tradition and cultural identity with innovation.
