Working across typologies and regions, Ayham contributes to design in large-scale architectural and urban projects from early concept to advanced stages.
Before ZHA, Ayham worked at internationally recognised studios, including Mamou-Mani Architects, RIOS, and at Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in London, where he led the design development of large-scale projects across Europe and the Middle East.

Inside ZHA
We are architects, designers, coders. Thinkers, creators, innovators. We are a diverse community of 500 people from 55 nations working across 5 global offices. We are ZHA.
Ayham completed his BArch in Syria with First Class Honours and his MArch at the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) in London, during which he was awarded the Peter Cook Prize and the BPro Gold Prize for thesis. He has taught and participated as a guest critic at schools including the Bartlett, Oxford Brookes University, and DEZACT.
Ayham’s international experience has shaped his sensitivity to the cultural and social dimensions of design and enables him to work confidently with diverse teams and stakeholders. Beyond work, he is passionate about travelling and rowing.

Projects
All scales, all sectors, all budgets. All around the world, and into the virtual world. From small product collaborations to grand masterplans. Whatever the iteration, ZHA’s core commitment never wavers: we are designing a better world.
