Branko has worked on diverse projects across China, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, including commercial, office, cultural, civic, residential, and mixed-use developments. His expertise extends to auditorium and façade design. At ZHA, Branko provided technical support on building regulations, codes, and standards. He is currently focusing on facade design.
Prior to joining ZHA, Branko served as an Associate Director at RHWL Architects and Aedas RHWL, where he led the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha. He also gained architectural experience at Bernard Engle Architects and Blampied & Partners.

Heritage + Regeneration
Residential
ZHA was appointed together with local practice Square Architecte to renovate and extend Le Schuylkill Tower. Construction works have begun with completion planned in May 2027. With 188 apartments from small studios to four-bedroom family units, the existing tower sits on a steep site with a 22m gradient between its north and south boundaries.

The renovation and redevelopment of Mercury House integrates residential apartments and a boutique hotel within Malta’s most dynamic urban environment. Creating new public spaces and amenities for the island’s residents and visitors, the design responds to Paceville’s key urban challenges by investing in its civic realm and increasing its limited housing supply.

A mixed-use masterplan for 70,000 researchers, office staff, residents and visitors, Unicorn Island has been designed to enhance the well-being of its community; its design influenced by principles within the region’s historical natural engineering projects.

Located on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, Oystra is a 128,000 square metre seafront development of 950 one- to four-bedroom apartments, duplexes, penthouses, and waterfront villas, together with extensive shopping, dining and leisure amenities.
