As Head of Finance at ZHA, she leads and trains a finance team currently consisting of eight people, including two apprentices. She oversees all aspects of financial management within the office and provides clear and accessible financial guidance, from large-scale projects to individual personal cases.
Diane began her career with Ernst & Young in London, where she was quickly promoted to Senior Manager. She then served as Group Financial Controller for The Tote and Finance Director for Cameron Taylor Group. Following its acquisition by Scott Wilson and later URS, she became Finance Director for the UK Buildings & Infrastructure Sector, where she was responsible for financial reporting and improved the firm’s margins through additional work identification and client negotiations.

Diane studied a BA in French and German at the University of Exeter, before qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1987. Her educational background has informed her rigorous thinking and structured decision-making, which ensure the uniformity and accuracy essential to her work at ZHA .
Born and raised in London, Diane enjoys exploring new cities on maps and she delights in the spontaneous surprises that capital cities like London has to offer.
