Specialising in translating design concepts into engineering-ready geometries while addressing fabrication and manufacturing constraints, Gaganjit plays a key role in delivering residential, high-rise, and specialised infrastructure projects—including bridges—within dense urban environments. His contributions extend to applied research, where he develops customised workflows, design automation strategies, and digital tools that optimize precision and efficiency in project deliveries.
Gaganjit’s portfolio includes Morpheus Hotel & Resort at City of Dreams in Macau, Hangzhou Seamless City in China, and Trojena Tower and Lookout in Saudi Arabia.

Project
The world’s first free-form high-rise exoskeleton, its rich pattern of structural members at lower levels progresses upwards to a less dense grid of lighter members at its summit.

Gaganjit received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology in India and his Master of Advanced Studies from ETH in Zurich.
Having studied in India, Switzerland, Spain, and the Netherlands, Gaganjit brings a diverse lens and a global perspective to his approach at ZHA. Beyond work, he has a keen interest in AI and machine learning, and actively develops prototypes that connect design, computation and emerging technologies. He is also invited to speak at conferences and technology innovation forums.

Projects
All scales, all sectors, all budgets. All around the world, and into the virtual world. From small product collaborations to grand masterplans. Whatever the iteration, ZHA’s core commitment never wavers: we are designing a better world.
