About Lu

Lu Tan plays a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Beijing office and supporting the general operations of ZHA’s offices in Asia.

Profile

Lu excels in liaising between internal teams and external stakeholders, leveraging her strong cross-industry communication and coordination skills. Beyond her operational responsibilities, Lu leads the administration team and mentors junior staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

 

Prior to ZHA, Lu gained diverse experience at Henn Architects and Remix Studio, as an editor and journalist at the Global Times, as a project officer at the British Consulate-General in Guangzhou, and in external affairs management within the retail industry.

Education & Professional Philosophy

Lu completed her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Language with a double major in Economics from Peking University in Beijing.

 

Lu’s diverse professional background has shaped her into a professional with a versatile skillset. Outside work, she enjoys travelling, which fuels her curiosity and connects her with diverse cultures and people around the globe.
