About Marco

Marco Pavoni joined ZHA in 2017 and has since played a pivotal role in a wide range of architectural, interior design, and exhibition projects.

Profile

Marco’s portfolio includes work on both small- and large-scale interior projects, spanning residential, commercial, office, and hospitality typologies across Europe. China, the Middle East, and Latin America. His involvement in projects extends through all stages, from initial concept to completion, ensuring that design integrity is maintained throughout.

 

Prior to joining ZHA, Marco gained valuable experience working with Claudio Silvestrin, contributing to a range of high-profile projects that included a private residence for high-end clients in Los Angeles, an Italian luxury department store and a fine-dining restaurant in London.

Education & Professional Philosophy

Marco earned his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture with honours from the Politecnico di Milano in Italy, complementing his studies with an exchange programme at McGill University in Canada and the Erasmus program at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture (ENSAP) in France. 


Marco collaborates with emerging couturiers as a fashion design consultant to develop brand aesthetics and explore advanced techniques, materials, and fabrics. Marco identifies as an active LGBTQIA+ spokesperson and a transgender professional. He is regularly invited as a critic to institutions in the UK and Italy, and recently appeared a guest panellist on Fashion and Gender at the Italian Cultural Institute in London.
