About Maria

Maria is a graphic designer with over 15 years of experience in both print and digital media, specialising in the arts, architecture, design, and fashion industries.

Profile

Prior to joining ZHA, Maria worked both as a freelancer and within in-house teams in London, with many of her projects centred on fashion. At ZHA, she collaborates with a small in-house team of designers to oversee the communications output, from ZHA Gallery materials to brochures, booklets, publications, exhibition graphics, and project-specific deliverables. Known for her attention to detail, Maria brings versatility to her design approach, tailoring her work to meet the unique needs of each client and project. Her collaborative style fosters a productive team environment, enabling her to contribute effectively to the diverse creative outputs that ZHA produces across disciplines.

Exhibitions

Exhibitions at ZHA

ZHA has been both the subject and the designer of numerous exhibitions, a dual role that both enriches our work and the way that we communicate it to the world. Exhibitions are opportunities to engage in dialogue – with curators, audiences, and other creators.

Education & Professional Philosphy

Maria earned her Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Design (Digital Media) from Central Saint Martins and her Master of Science in Arts Computing from Goldsmiths College in London, where she explored both multidisciplinary design and computational art methods.

Maria appreciates London’s multicultural energy and often visits contemporary art galleries, with Tate Modern being her favourite.
