With expertise across all hard and soft services, Simon ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of the workplace, overseeing maintenance, budgeting, third-party contractors, staff events, and health and safety procedures. His proactive, flexible, and pragmatic approach contributes to creating an enjoyable, efficient, and sustainable work environment.
Prior to joining ZHA, Simon accumulated a range of professional experiences. He ran his own furniture design and making practice. He held key roles across industries — as Office Manager at Pumphouse Sounds Inc / FXU Records, Facility Manager at Global Aerospace Underwriting Managers for nearly two decades, and Facilities and Logistics Manager at Comic Relief.

Inside ZHA
We are architects, designers, coders. Thinkers, creators, innovators. We are a diverse community of 500 people from 55 nations working across 5 global offices. We are ZHA.
Simon completed a bachelor’s degree equivalent in Furniture Design and Craftsmanship from Parnham College, a renowned design and woodcraft school in the UK that later became part of the Architectural Association (AA)’s Hooke Park campus. Simon’s creative background shapes his thoughtful and hands-on approach to managing facilities operations.
Outside of work, Simon is an avid swimmer, scuba diver, and skier. He swims a kilometre every day at lunchtime and enjoys advanced diving, especially with sharks.
