About Jack

Jack Sawbridge joined ZHA in 2025, specialising in building envelope design, façade and roof systems, complex interface detailing, and landscape design.

Profile

Jack has extensive on-site experience working with contractors and large teams. His expertise includes algorithmic modelling and generative tools to support rapid design development and the transition to BIM.

Before ZHA, Jack worked at Wilkinson Eyre and worked on the multi award-winning 8 Bishopsgate project. He lead a team of six for the building envelope, working on the project across all stages, on site, all the way through to completion. His experience also includes cultural, restoration, infrastructure and botanical biome projects. Prior to Wilkinson Eyre, Jack worked at PLP Architecture.

Nikola Tesla Museum

Informed by concepts of magnetic forces and interconnectivity, the design incorporates dynamic elliptical curves radiating from the old factory chimney, the site’s dominant feature.

Education & Professional Philosophy

Jack completed his BArch and Diploma in Architecture at the University of Nottingham. He is also a sculptor whose work has been exhibited and rated highly by art critic Brian Sewell at the 2011 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
