Generali Tower - Shopping Centre (Podium Interior - lower ground floor)
Marco has contribited to key ZHA projects, including the CityLife Generali Tower in Milan and the Morpheus Hotel & Resort at City of Dreams in Macau. Recently, he oversaw to the King Abdullah Financial District Metro Station in Riyadh, from design through construction to completion. He is currently working on the Asaan Museum in Diriyah.
Prior to joining ZHA, Marco worked as a building engineer-architect on a major urban development project in Rome, and contributed to various retail and transport projects across the UK.

Marco completed his Master of Architecture with Cum Laude in Building Engineering-Architecture from La Sapienza University in Rome.
Since childhood, Marco has been fascinated by contemporary architecture, art, and architectural photography. He believes every photograph tells a unique story that captures a moment of life, whether human or natural, while reflecting the photographer’s state of mind.

Hospitality
The world’s first free-form high-rise exoskeleton optimises the interiors by creating spaces that are uninterrupted by supporting walls or columns. Three horizontal vortices generate the voids through the building and define the hotel’s dramatic internal public spaces.

Meaning ‘inheritance passed down through generations’, Asaan will be an institution dedicated to preserving and celebrating this rich heritage, in addition to promoting creativity and knowledge sharing.

Retail
Located above Tre Torri station on the M5 line of Milan’s Metro network, CityLife Shopping District integrates a new public park with indoor and outdoor piazzas, food hall, restaurants, cafes, shops and cinema as well as facilities for health and well-being.

Transport + Infrastructure
KAFD Metro Station will serve as a key interchange on the new network for the Blue Line (Line 1) with the terminus of the Yellow Line to the airport (Line 4) and the Purple Line (Line 6) as well as a skybridge connecting to the local KAFD monorail.
