With a background bridging architecture and engineering, Marco brings together design intent and technical strategy. His portfolio spans commercial, healthcare and office projects, alongside an understanding of adaptive reuse and the relationship between built and social heritage.
Before ZHA, he worked in architecture and consultancy practices across Denmark, Germany and the UK, including BDP and Stantec, gaining experience from early concept and competition stages through to on-site delivery.

Featured Project
Phase One of the new Bishoftu International Airport (BIA) will serve 60 million passengers a year. Further phases will serve up to 110 million passengers annually with four runways and parking for 270 aircraft.
Marco completed his MArch at Aalborg University in Denmark and Master’s in Building Engineering-Architecture at University of Bologna in Italy. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, and beach volleyball, as well as designing and hands-on making small pieces of furniture.
