Education & Professional Philosophy

Maria completed her Bachelor of Architecture (Honours), Diploma in Architecture (Honours), and Master of Architecture from the Liverpool John Moores University in the UK. She has lectured at the University of Birmingham in the UK and has represented ZHA at international conferences.

Growing up in Greece, Maria was inspired by its rich history but also recognised a gap in contemporary architectural development, which led her to specialise in technical delivery to extend cultural heritage into the future. Maria is also a dancer and enjoys music performance and interactive arts.
