Since joining ZHA in 2008, Martin worked on numerous high-profile projects and competitions, most notably the Théâtre Royal de Rabat, King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre in Riyadh and the Unicorn Island Masterplan in Chengdu. His expertise spanst a diverse portfolio of mixed-use, cultural, educational, and masterplan projects across China, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, with particular focus on theatre design.
Prior to joining ZHA, Martin contributed to complex interior and exterior designs at interdisciplinary studio VeechXVeech.

Martin earned his Diploma in Architecture and Urbanism from Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic, spending a year at Graz University of Technology in Austria. His interest in computational design led him to Studio Hadid at the University of Applied Arts, where he earned a Masters in Architecture.
Growing up in a family of designers, Martin was immersed in art and design from an early age. Outside of work, he has a keen interest in botany and sustainability, and enjoys art and photography.

Culture
A fluid sculptural form inspired by the Bouregreg River between the ancient cities of Rabat and Salé. Incorporating an 1800-seat theatre, a 7,000 person amphitheatre and an experimental performance space.

KAPSARC develops policies and economic frameworks that reduce the environmental impact and overall costs of energy supply and enable practical technology-based solutions to use energy more efficiently.
