Victor joined ZHA in 2007 and has since built a diverse portfolio that includes residential, mixed-use, office, transportation, and cultural projects. His work emphasises harmony between symbolic design and sustainability through the use of parametric tools, optimised geometries, and environmentally considered materials. With a versatile background in both design and technical delivery, he has extensive experience working with UK planning and building regulations. He contributed to the ZHA Low Carbon Strategy Handbook, enhancing collective awareness of the environmental impact of ZHA’s work and setting new standards for sustainable design. Leading a multidisciplinary team, he brings a true passion for architecture and values collaboration with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
Prior to joining ZHA, Victor gained valuable experience from working on a high-rise tower in Madrid.

Victor earned his seven-year Architect Degree from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and his Master of Architecture and Urbanism from the Design Research Laboratory (DRL) at the Architectural Association (AA) in London. He also studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin as part of the Erasmus Programme. From 2011 to 2013, he taught parametric design and urbanism and served as a co-director for the AA Visiting School in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In contrast to the innovative nature of his work, Victor has a taste for vintage collections, particularly books and vinyl records. On weekends, he enjoys exploring secondhand bookshops and stargazing at home with his telescopes.

Mixed Use
The design responds to Lambeth Council’s aspirations for a district centre for Vauxhall by creating a vibrant new public square adjacent to the busy rail, underground and bus interchange. The proposal also accommodates TfL’s existing plans to upgrade the traffic gyratory and bus station to provide greater accessibility and safety for all.

Hospitality
The world’s first free-form high-rise exoskeleton optimises the interiors by creating spaces that are uninterrupted by supporting walls or columns. Three horizontal vortices generate the voids through the building and define the hotel’s dramatic internal public spaces.

Culture
The new Culture & Arts Centre by ZHA incorporates a contemporary art museum (MICA), an 1,800-seat theatre with supporting facilities and a multipurpose hall. Its organic architectural language is defined by pedestrian routes that weave through the site to connect with neighbouring streets.

Named after the Greek word for place, the TOPOS collection encapsulates time with family and friends lounging by the sea, beside a swimming pool, or under a canopy of pine trees. The essence of these precious memories living outdoors are captured in a unique furniture design.
