Wei-Yu first joined ZHA in 2018 as part of the ZHA Computation and Design group (ZHA CODE), a practice-embedded unit that bridges advanced research with practical architectural applications. During this time, he contributed to the Jockey Club i-Village at HKUST in Hong Kong. Since rejoining ZHA in 2022, he has played a key role in competitions and commissions across Asia and the Middle East, working on diverse typologies such as residential, cultural, villas, offices, masterplans, ferry terminals, and high-rise towers.
With prior experience as a façade consultant, he focuses on facade development and translating design concepts into engineering solutions that account for fabrication constraints. His contributions also include computational workflows and design automation, enhancing efficiency in project delivery.
Prior to joining ZHA, Wei-Yu worked at Front Inc in London, focusing on façade engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing using digital tools. He also gained valuable experience at SANAA in Tokyo and Wilkinson Eyre in London, contributing to projects such as SIBC Square in Toronto and Queensbridge Hotel Tower in Melbourne.

Tall Buildings
Offices
Developed on the world’s most valuable site purchased by Henderson Land, the 36-storey tower's design shelters new civic plazas enveloped by nature, creating an urban oasis in the centre of the city. Accommodating enhanced workplace flexibility, the building’s smart management system creates a contactless pathway for all occupants, eliminating all contact with communal surfaces.
