Education & Professional Philosophy

Zrinka holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Zagreb in Croatia and spent a year in the undergraduate programme at the Architectural Association (AA) in London. She earned her Master of Architecture from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) in Barcelona, where she worked as a teaching assistant under Enric Ruiz-Geli (Cloud 9) and Mireia Luzárraga (TAKK).

During her time at IAAC, she developed a keen interest in design methodologies associated with geometry, materiality, and fabrication. She has also served as a guest critic at institutions in Croatia, Spain, and the US and has represented ZHA at conferences, contributing to discussions on innovation and emerging technologies.

Zrinka’s international upbringing and education have shaped her ability to think creatively and adapt to diverse perspectives. Outside of architecture, she enjoys baking and pastry-making and would like to become more proficient in the future.
