Hung-Da played a pivotal role in the Xi’an International Football Centre and Hangzhou International Sports Centre, liaising with local design institutes (LDI) and clients, ensuring seamless communication between internal and external teams. His role also involves working with stadium and façade consultants, managing complex technical challenges. He has a disciplined and organised approach in managing large-scale sports complexes, ensuring project information is easily accessible and workflows are efficient.
Prior to joining ZHA, Hung-Da worked in Shanghai, specialising in high-rise buildings, hotels, and mixed-use developments.

From an international sports centre in Nansha to a football centre in Xi'an, discover highlights of Hung-da's notable projects at ZHA.

Hung-Da completed his Bachelor of Architecture from Tunghai University in Taiwan and his Master of Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL).
Hung-Da’s Taiwanese heritage and cultural sensitivity inform his human-oriented design approach, focusing on spaces that connect with people. Outside work, he enjoys running, yoga, hiking, and participating in group activities such as rowing.

Culture
Located at the entrance to Sanya’s harbour, the new cultural district by ZHA is adjacent to the Jiangang Road terminus of Sanya’s tram network that connects many of the residential and hotel districts on Sanya Bay with the city’s high-speed rail station.

The first in a series of bridges on Chengdu’s West Line Road, the new 295-metre Chengdu West First Bridge crosses the Jiangxi River, a tributary of the Tuojiang River in China’s Sichuan province.

Xi’an International Football Centre’s 60,000-seat stadium and training grounds are integral to the ongoing development of football in China. Initiated by the Chinese Football Association and China’s national sports development organisations, the new football centre provides facilities of the highest standards to nurture the sport across all levels.
