Jung Yeon has worked on key ZHA projects, including Mercury Tower in Malta, Dnipro Metro Stations in Ukraine, and Taikang Financial Centre in Wuhan, many of which she contributed to from concept to construction. Her portfolio spans various typologies, including stadiums, hotels, museums, and high-rise towers.
Prior to ZHA, Jung Yeon worked as a BIM Consultant at Gehry Technologies (now Trimble Consulting), where she contributed to several museum and cultural projects in South Korea and Qatar.

Jung Yeon completed her Bachelor of Architecture from Yonsei University in Korea and her Master of Architecture in Architectural Design from Oxford Brookes University with Distinction and an award of the Original Field of Architecture Prize.
Born in Korea and raised in the Middle East, Jung Yeon has studied and worked across Korea, Qatar, and the UK. This multicultural background equips her with the skills to navigate culturally diverse project teams and spaces with care.

Tall Buildings
Residential
The renovation and redevelopment of Mercury House integrates residential apartments and a boutique hotel within Malta’s most dynamic urban environment. Creating new public spaces and amenities for the island’s residents and visitors, the design responds to Paceville’s key urban challenges by investing in its civic realm and increasing its limited housing supply.

Transport + Infrastructure
The three new stations (Teatralna, Tsentralna and Muzeina) designed by ZHA will connect the residents, businesses, cultural and academic institutions in Dnipro’s eastern districts with the city centre and the Dnipro-Holovnyi railway terminus.

The new Taikang Financial Centre will be a centre of excellence, developing effective systems and networks that will provide a new ecosystem of support for people of all ages across China. Using the new technologies developed within the Taikang Financial Centre, the group will continue its commitment to supporting community development, healthcare, education and well-being throughout the country.

The new Nikola Tesla Museum renovates Belgrade’s historic Milan Vapa Paper Mill into a cultural destination celebrating Tesla’s legacy while preserving the city’s architectural heritage and creating a variety of new public spaces for local residents and visitors.

Phase One of the new Bishoftu International Airport (BIA) will serve 60 million passengers a year. Further phases will serve up to 110 million passengers annually with four runways and parking for 270 aircraft.
