Nailu has contributed to key ZHA projects, including the International Gateway Centre in Hong Kong and the Unicorn Island Masterplan in Chengdu. She specialises in high-end interior design and construction, with a skillset that includes concept sketches, design development, drawing packages, finish specifications, construction and site coordination, and complex 3D geometry rationalisation.
With a deep understanding of ZHA’s design language, Nailu tailors bespoke solutions to meet her clients’ needs. She believes interior design should prioritise user experience and interaction, striving for a balance between form and functionality at an intimate scale.

Nailu completed her Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Study from the University of Hong Kong and her Diploma in Architecture from the Architectural Association (AA) in London. She has participated in critiques at the AA and Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
Growing up in Beijing, Nailu gained a strong work ethic and sense of resilience. Outside of architecture, she enjoys visiting interactive installation exhibitions, as their immersive experiences inspire her design in interior architecture.

The renovation and redevelopment of Mercury House integrates residential apartments and a boutique hotel within Malta’s most dynamic urban environment. Creating new public spaces and amenities for the island’s residents and visitors, the design responds to Paceville’s key urban challenges by investing in its civic realm and increasing its limited housing supply.

Mixed Use
Infinitus Plaza is the new global headquarters of Infinitus China. Incorporating work environments designed to nurture connectivity, creativity and entrepreneurship, the new headquarters also includes the group’s herbal medicine research facilities and safety assessment labs as well as a learning centre for conferences and exhibitions.

Developed on the world’s most valuable site purchased by Henderson Land, the 36-storey tower's design shelters new civic plazas enveloped by nature, creating an urban oasis in the centre of the city. Accommodating enhanced workplace flexibility, the building’s smart management system creates a contactless pathway for all occupants, eliminating all contact with communal surfaces.

A mixed-use masterplan for 70,000 researchers, office staff, residents and visitors, Unicorn Island has been designed to enhance the well-being of its community; its design influenced by principles within the region’s historical natural engineering projects.
