Initially based in Rome, Veronica moved to Milan to oversee the CityLife project on-site before relocating to ZHA’s London office in 2013. With extensive on-site experience, Veronica has more recently extended her responsibilities to curating and designing exhibitions as part of the exhibition team.
Prior to joining ZHA, Veronica worked at MTM Arquitectos and NEXO Arquitectura in Spain, where she contributed to experimental design projects and competitions.

From residences within the CityLife masterplan that has redeveloped Milan’s abandoned trade fair grounds following the fair’s relocation to Rho Pero in 2005, to a tower that creates new public spaces and amenities for Malta's residents and visitors, discover highlights of Veronica's notable projects at ZHA.
Veronica received her Diploma in Architecture from the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia in Italy.
Veronica is passionate about sustainability and believes in the importance of rethinking, repurposing, and reusing existing structures to preserve resources and tell stories in new ways. Beyond architecture, she enjoys painting, drawing, working with colours, and sewing.

The Residential plot is composed of 7 linear buildings set along a continuous path around two land areas: Rc1, including buildings C1- C2-C3 and Rc2 with buildings C4-C5-C6-C7. The land areas are divided by a strip of public park.

Residential
The renovation and redevelopment of Mercury House integrates residential apartments and a boutique hotel within Malta’s most dynamic urban environment. Creating new public spaces and amenities for the island’s residents and visitors, the design responds to Paceville’s key urban challenges by investing in its civic realm and increasing its limited housing supply.
