About Davide

Davide Del Giudice joined ZHA in 2009 and has played a key role in numerous international projects and competitions, including the Napoli-Afragola High-Speed Train Station in Italy and the Morpheus Hotel in Macau.

Profile

With over 15 years of professional experience, Davide has worked across various sectors, including large-scale sports, cultural, masterplanning, infrastructure, and transportation projects. His portfolio includes notable projects such as the Rail Baltica Ülemiste Passenger Terminal in Estonia, the Ropax Ferry Terminal in Latvia, the Vilnius Business Stadium and Railway Station in Lithuania, and the Centre of Mediterranean Culture in Italy.


Having worked at architectural firms in Italy and the Netherlands before ZHA, Davide brings extensive experience across all project stages, from concept design to construction documentation. Playing a key role in the concept design stages, he specialises in detailed drawings and the rationalisation of complex geometries.

Education & Professional Philosophy

Davide earned both his Bachelor and Master of Architecture cum laude from the Polytechnic University of Turin in Italy and was a visiting student at SCI-Arc, the Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles.

 

Davide has taught at institutions such as Cardiff University, IUAV University of Venice, the Architectural Association (AA) in London, and Columbia University GSAPP in New York. He is also a co-founder of Co-de-It (Computational Design Italy) and co-director of AAST (Advanced Architecture Settimo Tokyo). His work has been published in MD Journal – Parametric Design and AREA 124 – New Geometries.

 

Outside of architecture, Davide enjoys creating physical models of Japanese robots, cars, and spaceships, as well as visiting art and design exhibitions.
