Hee Seung Lee joined ZHA in 2007 after gaining experience with leading architectural practices in Seoul. Since then, she has overseen the design and delivery of landmark international projects across Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Her expertise spans every stage of the design process—from concept through to completion—leading multidisciplinary teams on large-scale developments.

Hee Seung received her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Kyung Hee University in South Korea and studied at the Diploma level at the Architectural Association (AA) in London.
Hee Seung’s cultural background and experiences as a South Korean professional have shaped her architectural approach. Beyond work, Hee Seung is passionate about art.

The Alba is a new US$1.9 billion mixed-use beachfront development designed by ZHA for Omniyat on the Eastern Crescent of Palm Jumeirah with panoramic views of Dubai’s coast and skyline.
