Li joined ZHA in 2017 and strengthens cross-team collaboration by optimising workflows and integrating digital tools with clear information management protocols to maintain consistency and clarity in BIM outputs.
Before ZHA, Li worked with Chapman Taylor and Simpson Haugh and Partners across Shanghai, Manchester, and London. He brings a strong understanding of UK industry standards and regulations with valuable experience from architectural practice in Asia.

The Alisher Navoi International Scientific Research Centre will incorporate the Navoi State Museum of Literature, Auditorium, International Research Centre and School.
Li completed his BA in Architecture and MArch at the University of Dundee. Li has been a guest lecturer at a university in Australia and will lecture at a university in Scotland in 2025. His approach is shaped by international experience across China, Scotland, and the UK. He believes in balancing design ambition with practical, environmentally responsible and efficient outcomes.

Located at the entrance to Sanya’s harbour, the new cultural district by ZHA is adjacent to the Jiangang Road terminus of Sanya’s tram network that connects many of the residential and hotel districts on Sanya Bay with the city’s high-speed rail station.

Using the new technologies developed within the Taikang Financial Centre, the group will continue its commitment to supporting community development, healthcare, education and well-being throughout the country.

Transport + Infrastructure
ZHA and Cox Architecture have won the international design competition for the new Western Sydney Airport (WSA) and been appointed as Master Architect for the project. The ZHA/COX team was selected from a broad field of forty national and international applicants that was narrowed to five selected design competitors.

The design of Tower C integrates the city and nature within its central green axis with the transit orientated development (TOD) of Shenzhen’s new spine, creating a ‘superscape’ that will become a tower of the future within the Super Headquarters Base.
