Upon joining ZHA, Stéphane served as Project Architect for ZHA’s first high-rise building, CMA CGM Head Office Tower in Marseille, featuring the first ventilated double-skin façade on a high-rise tower in France. He has contributed to major projects including Taikang Financial Centre in Wuhan and CECEP Shanghai Campus in China, and the Al Janoub Stadium in Qatar.
Stéphane has managed various phases of project design and delivery, with responsibilities spanning team leadership, project oversight, and contract administration. As Director, Stéphane is also responsible for office management, overseeing project finances, and optimising resource allocation. His fluency in English and French, along with his diverse international experience, enhances his ability to approach projects from a global perspective.
Prior to joining ZHA, Stéphane gained significant experience with architectural practices in Switzerland, Germany, and the UK, working on residential, retail, educational, and refurbishment projects for public and private clients.

Set Two
Stéphane earned his Bachelor of Architecture with Honours from Plymouth University, where he established a solid foundation in architectural theory and design. He received his Master of Architecture from the London Metropolitan University, furthering his expertise in advanced design concepts. He has also obtained a Real Estate Economics and Finance Certificate from LSE.

Heritage + Regeneration
Residential
ZHA was appointed together with local practice Square Architecte to renovate and extend Le Schuylkill Tower. Construction works have begun with completion planned in May 2027. With 188 apartments from small studios to four-bedroom family units, the existing tower sits on a steep site with a 22m gradient between its north and south boundaries.

The new Taikang Financial Centre will be a centre of excellence, developing effective systems and networks that will provide a new ecosystem of support for people of all ages across China. Using the new technologies developed within the Taikang Financial Centre, the group will continue its commitment to supporting community development, healthcare, education and well-being throughout the country.

Tall Buildings
Rising in a metallic curving arc that slowly lifts and accelerates skywards into the dramatic vertical geometry of its revolutionary forms. With its ultimate coordinate 142.8 metres above the ground, a gateway to the city from both land and sea, an iconic vertical element that interacts with Marseille’s other significant landmarks.

The Pierresvives building for the department de l’Herault is the unification of three institutions – the archive, the library and the sports department – within a single envelope. These various parts combine to create a building with a strong single identity when viewed at a distance, but as one moves closer, the division into three parts becomes apparent.

Sports
Inaugurated on 16 May 2019 by hosting the Amir Cup Final of the Qatar Stars national football league, Al Janoub Stadium was the first new stadium commissioned for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

Offices
The 218,000m² campus sets new benchmarks for the city in energy conservation, energy efficiency and sustainability.
