Education & Professional Philosophy

Torsten received his Diploma in Engineering from the Koblenz University of Applied Science in Germany and his Master in Architecture Design from the Städelschule in Frankfurt. He taught as a Tutor with the Design Research Laboratory (DRL) at the Architectural Association (AA) in London from 2011 to 2020.

Torsten spends his weekends demolishing and rebuilding a cottage with his partner, finding great satisfaction in the hands-on process of building and witnessing the results. Outside of architecture, he enjoys taking his dogs on long walks and socialising with the people he meets along the way.
