Three ZHA projects win WAN Awards 2025

WAN Award 2025 winners

The World Architecture News (WAN) Awards celebrates groundbreaking global architecture.

 

Three ZHA projects have won WAN Awards 2025. The Jiangxi River Bridge in Chengdu and the Masarcyka Building in Prague received silver awards in the “Transport” and “Commercial Buildings” categories, and Zhuhai Jinwan Civic Arts Centre received the gold award in the “Public Buildings” category.

‎Jiangxi River Bridge

The dynamic curvature of the bridge’s supporting piers and abutments taper into its primary arches and road deck, defining a sculptural landmark within Chengdu’s transport infrastructure.

The centre’s landscaping and surrounding lake are designed as integral elements within Zhuhai’s ‘sponge city’ initiative that targets the natural permeation, storage and re-use of at least 70% of the city’s rainwater using aquatic flora and fauna to naturally filter contaminants
