Vishu received his Bachelor of Architecture from Pune University in India and his Master of Architecture and Urbanism from the Design Research Laboratory (DRL) at the Architectural Association (AA) in London. He currently teaches Architectural Computation and Architectural Design at the post graduate programs (B-Pro) at the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL). He regularly presents at international workshops and CAD conferences, including Advances in Architectural Geometry (AAG), ACADIA, CAADRIA, and the Design Modelling symposium, as well as at institutions across the UK, US, India, China, and Brazil.
Vishu has published numerous research papers and received accolades such as the 2022 Digital Futures Young Award and the 2022 Best Young Research Paper at the International Conference on Structures & Architecture (as a co-author).
Growing up in India with an architect father and engineer friends, Vishu was exposed to the intricacies of architecture and construction from an early age, leading him to blend his interests in computer science, engineering, and architecture within ZHA’s research group.
